Our Safety Program:
Below are some of the safety practices that we have in place:
Safeland Training: We require Safeland training for all of our employees.
JSA Program: Each project superintendent implements a JSA program for each project. JSA’s are initiated based on scope of work and are given by each crew foreman. If a crew works on stringing HDPE pipe in the morning and then later transitions into spooling pipe off a Fiberspar truck, the foreman would be required to initiate a separate JSA meeting based on the new scope of work entered into. This keeps our crews constantly looking for safety issues and keeps us vigilant as a company.
Safety Inspections: Our company safety manager visits each project weekly to ensure that the superintendents are properly enforcing our safety programs.
Hydro-Vacuum Excavation: We own and operate our own hydro-vacuum excavation trailers that allow us to safely expose line crossings. We require this crew to operate several miles in front of our installation crew so they can properly identify all potential crossings and hazards. While nothing replaces a safety minded crew, this extra step on safety can go a long ways in preventing very hazardous line breaks.
Other Safety Practices/ Certifications: In addition to the above items, most of our crews have other safety certifications ranging from Firewatch to confined space to CPR. These can be provided upon request.
